Birth of a Nation is one of the most embarrassing things white people have ever produced for "entertainment." We watched it in a History of Motion Picture class I took at Georgia State University as an undergrad and it is amazing. (I highly recommend taking a history of motion picture class if you ever have the chance) I'm grateful for all the people that fought to make America what it is today and feel burdened to continue their work.
